The Supreme Court has scheduled a session on January 19th to consider on an appeal challenging the Court of Appeal's decision to reject a petition filed by Minister of State Diana Gamage, seeking to invalidate her position as a Member of Parliament.
The appeal, filled by social activist Oshala Herath, was presented before a Supreme Court bench presided over by Yasanta Kodagoda today. The bench announced that the hearing for this appeal will take place on the 19th of this month.
