President Ranil Wickremesinghe has named ten distinguished lawyers as President’s Counsel. The formal swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Supreme Court shortly, after which the appointees will officially hold the title of President’s Counsel and be admitted to the Inner Bar.
The following ten senior Attorneys-at-Law have been granted this prestigious designation by the President: Chamantha Weerakoon, Dr. Asanga Gunawansa, Mohamed Adamaly, Harsha Fernando, Dr. Sivaji Felix, Faaiza Marker, Kaushalya Nawaratne, Upul Kumarapperuma, Viran Corea, and Eraj de Silva.
