Sports Minister Harin Fernando appointed a five member selection committee led by former cricketer Upul Tharanga to serve as cricket selectors for Sri Lanka Cricket.
The National Selection Committee has finalized and the Sports Council has endorsed a list of seven names for the committee.
The decision has received the official nod from Sports Minister Fernando, who has subsequently appointed five former cricketers to serve as cricket selectors.
The other members of the Sri Lanka Cricket Selection committee are Dilruwan Perera, Tharanga Paranavithana, Ajantha Mendis, and Indika de Seram.
