A case filed by Dubai-based Euro Capital against Sri Lankan businessmen Jicker Cassim and Mohamed Shakeel Cassim, seeking recovery of US$50,000 under a trade finance agreement, has been dismissed.
The plaintiff alleged the claim arose from the supply of goods to the defendants, but the judge, Pradeep Hettiarachchi, noted the lack of documentary evidence supporting the plaintiff's case, leading to the dismissal of the action.
