New Head of Medical Supplies Division appointed

The Ministry of Health has announced the appointment of Dr. Dedunu Dias as the new Acting Director of the Medical Supplies Division. 

Dr. Dias will be taking over the position previously held by Dr. Kapila Wickramanayake, who was recently arrested in connection with the import of substandard Immunoglobulin injections. 

Alongside Dr. Dias, Dr. Sudath Darmarathna has been appointed as the Acting Deputy Director of the Division. 

These appointments come as part of the Ministry's efforts to ensure the smooth functioning of the Medical Supplies Division during this transition period. 

The Medical Supplies Division plays a crucial role in procuring and distributing essential medical supplies across the country.
