The Sri Lankan woman who went missing in Israel has tragically passed away, as confirmed by Israeli authorities.
The Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara, has provided this information. The body of the woman is expected to be repatriated to Sri Lanka within the next two days.
The Embassy is also working to determine the whereabouts of two other Sri Lankans who have gone missing during the recent clashes between Israel and Palestine.
The Ambassador assures that they will continue to monitor the situation and prioritize the safety of Sri Lankans in Israel.
