Red alerts for landslides have been extended to Haldummulla area of Badulla district.
landslide notifications have been issued for several areas in Galle, Hambantota, Kandy, Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Kalutara, Kegalle, Matara and Ratnapura districts.
The National Building Research Organization says that this will be effective until 4 pm today 16th.
