The Fort Police are currently investigating the discovery of a body at Galle Face Beach, which is believed to be that of a monk.
According to police reports, the body was found floating on the beach yesterday.
Police suspect that the deceased individual was between the ages of 35 and 40, and as of now, the victim's identity remains undisclosed.
Efforts are underway to determine the cause of death.
