Amidst the ongoing violence in Israel and Palestine, another Sri Lankan woman has been reported missing, according to the Sri Lanka Embassy in Israel.
The embassy revealed that one Sri Lankan living in Israel has suffered minor injuries, while two others are currently missing due to the escalated conflict between Israel and Palestine.
In response to the situation, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has assured that the Sri Lankan government is actively collaborating with the Sri Lanka Embassy in Israel to ensure the safety of Sri Lankan citizens employed in the country.
The SLBFE has also provided a contact number (0094 - 716640560) via WhatsApp for individuals who may have concerns or require assistance regarding the conflict situation in Israel.
Furthermore, the SLBFE has established a hotline number (1989) for those seeking information about Sri Lankans residing in Israel.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that the Sri Lanka Missions in Tel Aviv and Ramallah are closely monitoring the situation and maintaining communication with Sri Lankans living in the affected areas.
