A group of 200 passengers faced inconvenience at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) due to a delay in the SriLankan flight scheduled for Kathmandu, Nepal, this morning.
Passengers boarded the flight at 7:15 this morning but were kept on board until 11 am due to the delay.
The flight was reportedly delayed due to a technical fault, and although authorities assured passengers of another flight, it had not been arranged by noon.
State Minister Sisira Jayakody was among those on the delayed flight bound for Nepal.
