The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has issued a Level 2 ( Amber) landslide warning to Ayagama, Pelmadulla, Kuruwita, Kalawana, Eheliyagoda, Kiriella, Ratnapura, Elapatha and Niwithigala Areas in the Ratnapura district, Neluwa in the Galle district, Ingiriya in the Kalutara district, Pitabeddara and Kotapola in the Matara district and Pasbage Korale in the Kandy district.

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) citing the Irritation Department has informed of a flood warning in Nilwala Kalu and Gin rivers.
Meanwhile the Navy has deployed several relief teams to assist communities affected by minor floods and emergencies.
