Flood warnings extended for Gin , Kuda , Kalu and Nilwala Ganga

It is requested to pay high attention in this regards by the residents in those areas and vehicle drivers running through those areas.

The warning mentioned in the flood warning message No. 01 issued for the Nilwala River basin on
28.09.2023 at 8.30 am will be extended for the next 24 hours.

The warning mentioned in the flood warning message No. 01 issued for the Kuda Ganga subbasin of
Kalu River basin on 28.09.2023 at 9.00 AM. will be extended for the next 24 hours.

The warning mentioned in the flood warning message No. 01 issued for the Gin River basin on
28.09.2023 at about 10.30 am will be extended for the next 24 hours.

Disaster Management Authorities are requested to take adequate precautions in this regard DMC
