The Railway Department says that a new train service has started between Thalaimannar Port and Colombo Fort

It will depart from Thalaimannarama Port station at 4.15 am and reach Fort station at 10.34 am and leave Fort at 3.35 pm and arrive at Thalaimannarama port station at 10.48 pm, says the Railway Control Room

The train consists of two air-conditioned first class coaches, two second class reserved seat coaches and second and third class general coaches.
