Ticket prices for the C & D blocks at the R. Premadasa Stadium have been reduced for the remaining matches of the Asia Cup, Sri Lanka Cricket announced today.
The high ticket prices for the Sri Lanka leg of the tournament had been a topic of discussion even before it began, and this was evident in the low attendance at the Pallekele International Stadium and R Premadasa Stadium so far.
Even the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match had a lower turnout, with large sections of the Upper pavilions empty.
As a result, ticket prices for the C & D Upper blocks will now be priced at Rs. 1000, while tickets for the C & D Lower stands will be available for Rs. 500
