The No-Confidence Motion brought against Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella by the Opposition was defeated with a majority of 40 votes a short while ago.
A total of 113 Members of Parliament (MPs) voted against the motion while 73 MPs voted in favor of the motion.
Besides, 38 MPs were absent during the vote.
The vote on the No-Confidence Motion was taken a short while ago in Parliament following a three-day debate.
