Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa has accused Channel 4 of harboring a longstanding animosity towards the Rajapaksa family.
Rajapaksa questioned the credibility of a video released by Channel 4 on the Easter Sunday attacks, highlighting that it had been deleted from their website.
He suggested that this deletion raises doubts about the video's authenticity and raises concerns that it may be part of an agenda to seek revenge against the Rajapaksas or serve certain political interests.
Rajapaksa further expressed his belief that Channel 4 has consistently targeted his family and the Rajapaksa name since the end of the war in 2009.
He emphasized the importance of not politicizing the Easter Sunday attacks and cautioned that doing so could hinder ongoing investigations.
