Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has revealed plans to introduce a new service connecting Abu Dhabi with Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Commencing operations on January 3, 2024, the budget airline will offer three weekly flights between Abu Dhabi International Airport and Bandaranaike International Airport.
Adel Al Ali, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, expressed his satisfaction with the expansion, stating that it contributes to the growth of the UAE's travel and tourism sectors.
The move is part of Air Arabia Abu Dhabi's ongoing efforts to enhance connectivity to and from the capital, and the inclusion of the Colombo route brings the carrier's total number of destinations to 34.
