The water levels in Kalu Ganga, Ging Ganga, Nilwala Ganga, and the Attanagalu Oya are rising significantly, according to Irrigation (Hydrology) Director Eng. S.P.C. Sugeeshwara.
He mentioned that the water level in the lower regions of these rivers remains high.
Sugeeshwara cautioned the public to exercise caution as there was no significant rainfall recorded in any area on the previous day (04) and the water levels are not expected to increase further.
However, he noted that the water level is still elevated in the lower parts of the Ging Ganga, Nilwala Ganga, and Kuda Ganga. Sugeeshwara assured that there is no significant risk of flooding in these areas
