President Ranil Wickremesinghe is slated to deliver a speech at the 78th United Nations General Assembly, taking place at the UN headquarters in New York from September 18th to September 26th.
The President's address is scheduled for September 21st.
This gathering will convene leaders from around the world to discuss various global challenges and explore ways to make progress on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Furthermore, it has been reported that President Wickremesinghe will also attend the Group of 77 (G77) summit in Havana, Cuba, on September 15th and 16th, prior to his participation in the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
