Indian Defence Minister's visit to Sri Lanka postponed

The planned visit of India's Defence Minister to Sri Lanka, which was originally scheduled for September 2 to 3, has been postponed, as confirmed by the High Commission of India.

The announcement stated that new dates for the visit will be determined and communicated in due course.

The purpose of the visit by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was to assess and discuss the current state of bilateral defence relations between India and Sri Lanka.
