In response to the increase in the price of diesel, the chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association (LPBOA), Gemunu Wijeratne, has announced that bus fares are likely to be increased.
The LPBOA will hold a meeting with the National Transport Commission (NTC) to determine the percentage of the fare increase and the date it will take effect. Stay tuned for further updates on this matter.
