Prominent US Senator Chris Van Hollen has arrived in Sri Lanka as part of his three-nation tour, which includes Nepal and Maldives.

As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, Senator Van Hollen will engage in meetings with key government officials, civil society organizations, and industry leaders. While a meeting with President Ranil Wickremesinghe is anticipated, no official confirmation has been provided thus far.
