Two people were killed in a shooting incident in Mannar today, according to the police.
The victims, aged 46 and 53, were riding a motorcycle when they were targeted.
They were residents of Pallimadu and Uliyankulam. The motive for the shooting and the identities of the shooters have not been determined yet.
The Mannar Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
