Muditha Peiris, the chairman of Litro Gas Company, has confirmed that there will be no increase in the prices of liquefied petroleum (LP) gas cylinders today (August 4), despite the recent price hike in the global market.

However, as part of their monthly price revision based on the pricing formula, Litro Gas Lanka had planned to announce the revised prices for domestic LP gas cylinders today.

Litro Gas has already implemented four consecutive price reductions this year. In the previous price revision, the cost of a 12.5kg cylinder was reduced to Rs. 2,892, while a 5kg cylinder was priced at Rs. 1,198.
