Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Dr Harini Amarasuriya met Vice President of the Republic of Maldives, Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef, on the sidelines of the 28th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026.
During the brief meeting, the two leaders exchanged greetings and discussed opportunities to strengthen engagement and cooperation between Sri Lanka and its Commonwealth partners.
The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm Sri Lanka’s commitment to promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in key sectors, including economic development, education, agriculture and social development.
