The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide early warnings for several areas across the country due to the prevailing rainy weather conditions.
The warnings are valid for 24 hours, from 6.00 p.m. today (October 18) until 6.00 p.m. tomorrow (October 19).
Level 2 (Amber) – Watch and Be Prepared
The following areas have been placed under Level 2 warnings:
Kegalle District: Yatiyanthota, Mawanella, Bulathkohupitiya and Aranayake
