The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has ordered Shiranthi Rajapaksa to be further remanded until October 16 in connection with investigations into the Siriliya Saviya account.

The Magistrate also ordered that further medical reports on Rajapaksa be submitted on that date, stating that no decision on bail would be made until then.

The order was issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama after considering submissions made by lawyers appearing for Rajapaksa and the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
