The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide early warnings for several areas across seven districts due to prevailing rainy weather.
The warnings, issued at 4.00 p.m. today (12), will remain in effect until 4.00 p.m. tomorrow (13).
A Level 2 Amber Warning Warning has been issued for Mawanella, Ruwanwella and Bulathkohupitiya in the Kegalle District.
Meanwhile, Level 1 Yellow Warnings have been issued for the following areas:
Badulla District: Ella and Passara
Colombo District: Padukka
Kandy District: Hataraliyadda and Thumpane
Kegalle District: Dehiowita, Kegalle, Rambukkana, Yatiyanthota, Aranayake and Warakapola
