Solicitor General Viraj Dayaratne has been appointed Acting Attorney General by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The appointment follows the departure of Attorney General Parinda Ranasinghe overseas.
Mr. Dayaratne will serve as Acting Attorney General during Mr. Ranasinghe’s absence.
