Water supply to several areas in Kalutara will be suspended for eight hours today (08) due to essential maintenance work at the Kethhena Water Treatment Plant.
Accordingly, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said the water supply will be suspended from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. in Kalutara, Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Morontuduwa and Pilaminawatta.
The NWSDB has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the public and urged residents to store sufficient water in advance and use the available water sparingly during the interruption.
