The first parliamentary sitting week for October begins today (06), with Parliament scheduled to meet from today until October 9, Secretary-General of Parliament Kushani Rohanadeera said.
During this week’s sittings, the second reading debate on the Anti-Corruption Amendment Bill is scheduled to take place.
Leader of the House, Minister Bimal Rathnayake, said the debate on the Bill is scheduled for Thursday, October 8.
