The Ceylon Petroleum Private Tanker Owners Association (CPPTOA) today urged the public not to engage in panic buying of fuel, assuring that there is no shortage or disruption to fuel supplies.
The association said queues had been observed at some filling stations, mainly because certain stations had failed to place their fuel orders on time.
The CPPTOA assured the public that fuel supplies remain uninterrupted and urged consumers to purchase fuel as usual without unnecessary panic buying.
