Representatives of the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) member states discussed ways to strengthen cooperation on maritime security and regional security during a virtual meeting held at the Information Fusion Centre (IFC) Colombo on October 1.
The discussion was held under the theme “Enhancing Regional Preparedness and Response to Marine Pollution Incidents.”
Representatives from India, the Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles and Sri Lanka participated in the meeting, with some joining virtually.
The discussions focused on enhancing regional preparedness and response mechanisms for marine pollution incidents and strengthening cooperation among CSC member states on maritime security.
