The LMT GO app has been updated with the latest timetables and route information for five newly introduced Metro Bus routes, enabling passengers to check bus schedules, stops and the current locations of buses.
The newly introduced routes are CM02, operating between Athurugiriya (Millennium City) and Colombo Fort; CM04, between Dematagoda and Panadura; CM05, between Battaramulla and Ekala; CM06, covering the Kollupitiya Circular Route; and CM08, between Kahathuduwa and Colombo Fort.
A total of 112 newly introduced Metro buses were deployed on September 29, 2026, under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. Two Metro Bus routes were already in operation at the time, while the introduction of the five additional routes has expanded the service to seven routes.
Through the updated LMT GO app, passengers can access the latest timetables, bus stops and other travel information. The app also allows users to track the current location of buses, helping them plan their journeys more conveniently.
