The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning about strong winds and rough seas for multi-day fishing vessels operating in the deep-sea areas of the Bay of Bengal.
The warning will remain valid for the next 12 hours.
Fishermen and seafarers are advised to refrain from fishing and other maritime activities until further notice.
