Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, who is in remand custody over a money laundering case related to the Airbus deal, is scheduled to be produced before court today (23). He is expected to be produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court in accordance with an order issued by the court.
Namal Rajapaksa has been named as a suspect in the case over allegations involving the alleged misappropriation of USD 2 million in connection with the Airbus transaction.
Further proceedings in the case are expected to take place today.
