A clash has been reported between underworld figures Nandun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, alias “Harak Kata”, and Mandinu Padmasiri Perera, alias “Kehelbaddara Padme”, while they were in prison custody.
The Prisons Department said “Kehelbaddara Padme” sustained minor injuries in the incident.
He has been hospitalised for treatment, while further investigations into the incident are underway.
