The National Business Facilitation Centre (NBFC), established under the Presidential Secretariat to remove administrative and regulatory barriers affecting investment and industry, is scheduled to be inaugurated today (22).
The centre has been established on the concept of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, with the aim of facilitating positive transformation in the industrial sector.
The NBFC will help resolve issues faced by businesses when starting and operating their ventures, while coordinating with relevant government institutions to provide necessary services and approvals.
The “ViYASA” National Business Facilitation Centre is located at C-80, Hector Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Colombo 07. It is headed by Senior Additional Secretary to the President, Seevali Arukgoda.
The centre will be inaugurated under the patronage of Labour Minister and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando and Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti, with the participation of Presidential Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
