Police have seized 21 kilograms of drugs during an operation in the Walgama area of Matara.A man and a woman were also arrested in connection with the seizure, according to police.
The suspects and the seized drugs have been taken into police custody, while further investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police said further action will be taken based on the findings of the ongoing investigations.
