The Welfare Benefits Board says the September 2026 Aswesuma welfare payments will be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts today (16).
According to a statement issued by the Board, Rs. 9.18 billion will be credited to 992,053 beneficiary families under the first phase of the Aswesuma Welfare Benefits Scheme.
Meanwhile, Rs. 2.12 billion will be credited to 213,335 beneficiary families under the second phase.
Accordingly, a total of Rs. 11.30 billion is scheduled to be credited to the relevant Aswesuma bank accounts today.
Beneficiaries will be able to withdraw their payments through their Aswesuma bank accounts from tomorrow (17).
