Shafali Verma top-scored with 68 runs, while Smriti Mandhana contributed 59.
For Sri Lanka, Mitali Ayodhya, Chamari Athapaththu and Chamudi Prabodha claimed one wicket each.
Chasing a target of 184, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 111 runs in 20 overs. Chamari Athapaththu was the top scorer for Sri Lanka with 36 runs.
Sri Charani was the pick of the Indian bowlers, claiming four wickets.
