Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is on a three-day official visit to Sri Lanka, is scheduled to visit Nuwara Eliya today (10).

During his visit, he is expected to participate in a religious programme at the Sita Amman Temple.

Yesterday, the Indian Defence Minister attended a religious programme at the Gangaramaya Temple in Hunupitiya.

He also met President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa yesterday.

In addition, Rajnath Singh paid floral tributes at the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) Memorial at the Ape Gama premises in Battaramulla.

The Indian Defence Minister is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka today upon concluding his official visit.
