The prices of Litro domestic LP gas cylinders will be reduced with effect from midnight today (05), Litro Gas Lanka Chairman Channa Gunawardana announced.
Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder will be reduced by Rs. 100, bringing the new price to Rs. 4,365.
The price of a 5 kg cylinder will be reduced by Rs. 42 to Rs. 1,750, while the price of a 2.3 kg cylinder will be reduced by Rs. 20 to Rs. 815.
Litro Gas Lanka said the decision was taken to provide relief to consumers despite rising international LP gas prices and challenging exchange rate conditions.
The revised prices will be effective from midnight on September 5, 2026.
