The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has a 24-hour suspension of the water supply in several areas of Colombo from today (03) due to essential maintenance work at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.
The water supply interruption will begin at 8:00 p.m. today (03) and continue until 8:00 p.m. on Friday (04).
The affected areas include Nugegoda, Kohuwala, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana, Moratuwa, Rawathawatta, Soysapura, Angulana, Indibedda, Katubedda, Kaldemulla, Mutwal, Koralawella, Egoda Uyana and Katukurunda.
The disruption will also affect Sethsiripaya, Himbutana, Udumulla Road, Maliga Godella, Bank Junction Road, W. A. Silva Mawatha, Havelock Road, Kalyani Road, Colombo 06, Hospital Roundabout Road, Jayanthi Mawatha and Shanthi Mawatha.
