The attorney said the Bribery Commission had formally notified Rajapaksa in writing to appear before the Commission on the specified date.
He added that Rajapaksa has agreed to comply with the directive and appear before the Commission as requested.
Rajapaksa was initially informed last Monday that he was required to appear before the Bribery Commission on Friday (4)
