Deputy Minister of Tourism Ruwan Ranasinghe says the government is taking every possible measure to promote and further develop Sri Lanka’s tourism industry.
He made these remarks at an event held at the auditorium of the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management.
Two major national-level consultancy projects the National Tourism Strategic Planning Advisory and the Global Promotion and Campaign Roadmap Advisory were officially launched today (31).
The two initiatives are being implemented under the World Bank’s Project Preparation Facility, marking a significant milestone in Sri Lanka’s tourism development agenda.
The projects are expected to support the formulation of strategic plans and strengthen Sri Lanka’s global tourism promotion efforts, contributing to the sustainable growth and competitiveness of the country’s tourism sector.
