Officers at the checkpoint had received information through the police emergency hotline about the vehicle and ordered the driver to stop.
However, the driver allegedly ignored the police signal and continued driving, prompting officers to open fire at the vehicle to force it to stop.
The driver then abandoned the car and fled the scene, while the abducted woman was rescued.
