Police have arrested a 21-year-old man accused of operating Facebook groups and pages that shared photographs of women and children in an obscene manner.
The suspect was arrested at his residence in the Beliatta area on Thursday (27) by officers from the Police Bureau for the Prevention of Abuse of Children and Women.
The arrest was carried out during a morning operation led by a team including the bureau’s officer-in-charge.
Police have taken the suspect’s mobile phone into custody, and further investigations are being conducted by the bureau.
