Sri Lanka name 14-member squad for 2nd test against India

Sri Lanka Cricket has announced a 14-member squad for the second and final Test of the ongoing series against India.

The second Test is scheduled to be played at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) in Colombo from August 23 to 27. The series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025–2027 cycle.

Dhananjaya de Silva will captain the Sri Lankan side, while Kamindu Mendis has been named vice-captain.

The upcoming fixture will be the second Test of the two-match series. Sri Lanka and India will be looking to end the series on a strong note as they continue their campaigns in the World Test Championship.
