The Government of Sri Lanka has declared August 21, 22, and 23 as three days of national mourning following the passing of veteran musicologist and vocalist, Dr. Nanda Malani.
The official announcement was released today by H.S.K.J. Bandara, the Director-General of Government Information.
Further details regarding the national days of mourning will be issued shortly by the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government.
